Steve – I just finished reading The Water Room by Christopher Fowler (second in the Peculiar Crimes Unit series). I thought of you all the way through it! It is filled with well-written prose relating fascinating details about London’s history – streets, architecture, rivers, pubs, – it is great fun! Lots of content regarding London’s underground rivers. I have no idea whether you have read any of Fowler’s books, but I had to let you know – you came to mind a lot while I was reading this one. ~Ed.
