I didn’t know the term Nippy. Funnily enough, you. first shot made me think of the workers at Tate and Lyle (from the book Sugar Girls)

Hadn’t heard of the book, but it’s now on it’s way from Amazon, every days a school day! 🙂 Can’t help thinking if someone resurrected the old Lyons corner houses complete with Nippy’s, potted palms and an orchestra they would be incredibly successful.
